PCA step 1 hand - line check

Comments on all streets? Villian had been fairly tight. I had been catching cards and over betting pots only showing once, so I probably look like a total lagtard.

Standard... no way I am finding a fold here. You have a ton of redraws if you are beat. If this were a step 3 or 4 it might be interesting

Why not call and see a turn?

I should have asked this question to start: what range does one put villian on with the minraise, and no real reads on villian play on a step 1? Only "read" is that OPR put villian at 60% at low stakes play, a slight loser.

For me, minraise suggested a draw, so I thought I could push him off and pushed for value. Then after the hand was over, was rethinking. I hadn't looked closely at his stack, and didn't realize he had committed over 1/3 of his chips by the minraise... which makes me question my play here...

EDIT: Whoops, missed that villain pot committed himself on the flop. Shove is standard, though you might need to catch up.

i thought the same . i thought he was very strong and wanted you to shove. i still say youll be ahead or redraw just enough to be +ev.
