Call or raise?
 

A few weeks ago I was playing in a 1/2nl live cash game & the following hand came up. We had a couple of limpers in the pot already & one of the MP players made a small raise to $8. He was reraised to $22 by a fairly solid player in LP. I was on the button & looked down at A [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]K [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]. I thought for a minute & called. Rest of the table folded, MP raiser called as well.

Do you like the call or a raise better considering I had position?

I'd rather 4-bet than call especially since we don't close the action. Depends on opponents though, if you think he's rr light pre, then 4-bet. I'd probably 4-bet anyways.

Considering its live i like just calling. People would be suprised how small people rr ranges preflop are in live games (assuming this is fr as well?)

totally depends on stack sizes, obviously.

Stack sizes from what I remember are $200-$500 on average. LP raiser had probably $250-$300 in red & some Franklins behind because I remember looking at his stack while considering whether to raise. Didn't get a count tho....
