Party 200NL Middle set on superdry flop.

UTG is a TAG and seems ok. MP is kind of fishy, loosish and calls down to light. But he isn't completely brain dead. After he calls flop I would put his range at 88+ and any ace.

Whats my best play here. If I raise UTG folds pretty much everything but AA/44 unless he is tilting, in which case he might stack off with AK. MP might be able to stack himself on the turn if I raise the flop and he has an ok ace, but he might have enough braincells to know AT is no good here. I don't really know. By just calling, alarm bells should still start going off big time for UTG, but MP might not understand how strong an over call from me is on this flop. What would your plans be for the rest of the hand to maximize value in this hand?

I though this was a no-brainer, but the reads and the ace make it difficult.

Maybe this is the time for a minraise.
If you call the pot is $62 with ~180 behind.
When utg bets the turn for say $50, mp calls and you minraise to $100. I'd bet mp will call and stack off easily on the river. (take some seconds to minraise)

just my 2cent

(I dunno if utg would bet the turn into two villians on such a dry board. And I don't mind getting staked by AA)

Good spot for a smooth call I think.

We're waaaay ahead of everything here (aside from AA of course) and there are no draws to charge. If we call, there will be $72 in the pot on the turn, and we only need to get another ~190 or so in with 2 more streets to bet. So even if they both check to you on the turn, a $50 bet + a call makes $172 in the pot, setting up a river shove nicely. So we don't really need to raise the flop to get the money in if MP has a big ace (which is likely given the action).

The other nice thing about smooth calling is that we're IP and we may be able to squeeze another bet out of UTG if he fires again on the turn, whereas he will almost certainly fold to a flop raise unless he has 44.

Smooth call. You are only behind AA. The flop is great for you. Raise the action on the turn.

This is a pretty standard call for me. See what happens on the turn that allows you to best get all your money in.

smooth call. there is 1 draw. 56 has a OESD, but it isn't a big worry
