Question about pocket tens

Just a general question wondering if i played this hand correctly, this was my first hand at the table

.10/.25blinds

dealt pocket tens in the cutoff and middle position player raised to .75 and i reraised to 2.50

he called and i ended up folding to an overcard flop

interested in if my preflop play of reraising was correct

Re: Question about pocket tens

Without reads pretty standard raise imo. I would have played it same. Smooth calling for set value would not be awful here either.

Did the villain lead into you on the flop? If not, I c-bet TT if there is only one overcard or an A on the flop. You can credibly rep a strong had and shut down if you are raised/called on drawless boards.

Readless, I probably re-raise 80% of the time in this spot and call the other 20%. Sounds fine to me.

What was the size of his post-flop donk bet?

Re: Question about pocket tens

He bet about 3/4 the pot. I felt he would check 22-99 to that flop so i took that range out. After about an hour or so he seemed to be a calling station that played semi decent hands and was willing to call raises with hands like a10-kj.
