just a real quick noob question

i tried depositing real money @ both FTP and Pokerstars with a mastercard credit card but it said my bank blocked the transaction. i tried with a bank of america debit card (is also a VISA credit card) but it was denied as well.

i thought visa/mastercard was supposed to go through these two sites? do i need to call my bank? or use epassporte?

Pokerstars says that they accept visa/mastercard but I also tried it but it didn't work either. I called the card company and they said they don't allow using their card for gambling. I used netteller but they went out of business so I guess your gonna have to deal with epassporte and all those fees

i used a mastercard debt online and it worked fine. i don't know if they have since changed rules, but i can still deposit using the same method. btw, this is on stars, tilt won't allow mastercard, but says it allows visa. don't know about that though.

I managed mastercard on FTP but it was declined first time, and then I received a call from my bank asking if I wanted the transaction to go through.

Some banks do not allow transaction to online gaming sites even if the site accepts the payment. I think that wells fargo is one of the few banks I have heard of that is still allowing the payments to go through.

I would contact your banks customer care and ask if they allow these transactions, if not then get an epassporte.com account. I have had no problems with depositing or withdrawing money from mine (withdrawing is easier if you get their VISA debit card which costs 35 but is well worth it).

I tried using a mastercard Credit Card on FTP, got denied, afterwards FTP told me that they only accept mastercard debit cards, which eventually went through for me.

I used Wamu debit card
