National Poker Challange out of Memphis has a store about to open in Little Rock Arkansas with a tourny this weekend. Here is a youtube bit about an earlier attempt:

As far as I thought, the game of poker, with or without betting, was illegal in Arkansas, but maybe these folks have a different interpretation. I heard on the radio this morning that the police are monitoring the situation. I won't go, I think there is a real possibility of getting a ticket.

I sure hope not. I will be playing in it tomorrow. It seemed like the quotes from the authorities implied are going to observe it and make a decision then. So I would think at least a week or so for them to take action. Or as before the doors open.

I seriously doubt they will give tickets to the players.

Anyone else think they will raid it the first day, or at all?
