When did you start to play poker on the Internet in a regular (or semi-regular) basis?

I remember I deposited $500 in Paradise circa 2000,2001, played one session of 10-20, lost and thought it was rigged.

It was until Moneymaker when I overcome my online fear and deposited again on June 14, 2003

Played semi-regularly since then, so my online poker age is 4 years, 2 months and 17 days.

BTW my first game was a $5 sit&go on Party.

Got $.90 for free in a crappy promotion at a small site called All-In Poker. I started out with the lowest limits, $.05/$.10 Limit, didn't go broke, and practiced proper bankroll management when I finally got a bankroll ($30). That was in April 2006.

I remember when I had turned that into $5, a guy sat down at my table with $600 and said that poker was all luck and no skill. To demonstrate this, he wasn't going to do anything at all except for raise. I took 100BBs off of him ($10). [img]/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img]

Now I play 2/4 to 5/10 NL on FTP and my bankroll is nearly $40k.

My first deposit was on 8/28/2005, so I'm 2 years and 2 days old.

At first I played NL10 cash games, as well as $5.50 SnGs and MTTs. This was way before I even when what I was doing.

Deposited for the first time in September 2006 on Party (Canadian ftw). Lost the $50, re-deposited, lost again. Deposited $85 on stars and never looked back.

I'm about 11 months old. w00t.

Beat: I missed the online boom when any monkey could win at mid-stakes.

$10+.5 limit HU sit and gos on pacific 3 years ago. I made like $150 and thought I was so awesome, and then I lost $100 in a day and was crushed.

4ys 8m, owning the 5$ sngs on prima back in the day. And of course cashing in those awesome freerolls they used to have without playing a hand lol.
Still playing on original 60$ buy in.

I thought this question was going to be something like: For online players, take your table hours and divide by 24...how old are you now?

Some people here are probably over 100 years old now.

12-13 months.

Have played everything from micro cash games to nl200/2-4 (underrolled ldo), freerolls to low rebuys. Down about 1k overall, with no roll currenty. bleh.
