UTG raiser on K86A board
 

$3K live MTT, blinds 300/600/75. You have 26K at start of hand and villain has 45K. Villain seems to play standard TAG book game, loose raises always 2.6XBB to open in 2+2 style.

I raise to 1500 UTG with QJs and villain calls in UTG+1. Flop is K86,r. I cbet 3000 and villain calls. Turn is an ace for K86A. What should I do? Comments on earlier streets?

c/fold on the turn---if he has floated before I might fire another barrell...i just fold pf.

This is a good card to double barrel; he's floating, has a mid pair, or KQ (and folds), often enough. I wish you'd bet a little less on the flop, partly b/c the board is so dry but also to make your second barrel less costly.

The Ace is a good card to bluff. Unless the villian is a total idiot I don't see how the Ace could have helped him.
It's unlikely he's slowplaying a set or AK. If he calls a turn bet triple barreling is an interesting dilemna.

I was pretty sure villain had a pp from preflop and postflop action. I could easily have raised AK, AA, KK, or 88 UTG. I could also have been completing bluffing with a cbet, which I was, in which case I likely had an ace.

I actually bet 90% of pot 10K, and villain thought a while and folded. I figured he just couldn't call the big bet with his likely 99-QQ.

I think your big bet on the flop sets up a good double barrel because utg riase + 75% pot bet on flop looks alot like AK. I would only bet a little over half pot on the turn though.

I actually bet 64% of pot on the flop. I was trying to represent AK (or AA). I figure my relatively large cbet could also be a complete bluff, which it was, in which case, the turn bet also represents that I just hit my ace.

I agree with LFT that the bet sizing should be smaller. It's a dry board, so a bet of 50% of pot on the flop is just fine to rep what we need to rep, and another 50/60% bet on the turn is plenty if we decide to double barrel because villain will have to call that knowing a big bet on the river is probably coming. So smaller bets are accomplishing everything the bigger bets accomplish but allow you to get away cheaper if you have to bail out.
