MN Limit Players
 

Met a handful of limit players from MN this summer/fall at the Commerce playing 40, 60, and 1/2. Super nice and sincere guys that can really play some good [censored] poker. And I don't mean just one or two of them...the whole bunch. As I play primarily LHE these days for a living at Commerce, I am ashamed to say that I need to take a trip to MN to really figure out how to do my job.

What's the deal with these guys? Is there something in the water or the chronic up there that makes them so good?

They challenge old limit has-beens to increase their e-peen.

Also, they lie about their BB/100.

No Limit is Illegal in MN, so everyone plays limit.

Also, gamling age is 18 in MN, so we get a 3 yr head start playing B&M.

It's also so [censored] boring up here sometimes that all you can do is play poker.

U go to U of MN? I met a guy this summer who still goes to U of MN...were you playing 40 at Commerce?

Yes, I go to the U of MN. No it wasnt me, I usually don't play anything above 6-12/ never been to LA.

I also heard that there is some law that limits the game to 30/60. Is this true?

Yes, it's true. No game higher than 30-60 can be spread in MN.
