Poker near Evanston, IL
 

So once again I will be on a business trip with some spare time that could conceivably see me playing cards. I will be in Evanston, IL with about 5-6 hours to kill Sunday night. Is there a room within driving distance that would spread mid-limit LHE or NL games? I am looking for like 6-12 to 15-30 or a 2-5 NL game.

Would be interested in the quality of the rooms / games in the area.

My other option is the Cubs / Cardinals game Sunday night, although I imagine tickets for that are darn near impossible to find at a decent price.

Cool, thanks for the info. I did some forum searching in the interim and saw that this is the preferred location and seems equidistant to others (aurora, majestic).

Any sense as to what games that they would spread on a Sunday night. They advertise 20/40, but what are the chances that it will be going?

Yeah, for 10/20 or 20/40, go to Resorts. For 2/5 NL, go to Majestic (just another mile down the road from Resorts).
