Types of bread you eat

I need to stop eating white flour-derived bread. Unfortunately, fresh french bread and white bread tastes so damn good, and the multigrain [censored] that my girlfriend eats tastes like hay.

What types of bread do you guys eat that doesn't taste dry as [censored] and would be good for making lunch meat sandwiches?

Whole foods here carries a really good whole wheat sourdough bread. The sourdough flavor is pretty unpronounced, but the texture of the bread is great for 100% whole wheat. I can never remember what bakery it comes from though.

Grocery story at school sells these super long whole wheat loaves for $3. Pretty solid. The key for bread imo is that it is dense, not that airy [censored].

white bread's only function on this earth should be buttered toast. Otherwise it's about the worst option available.

My favorite name brand bread is Orowheat's 7 Grain bread. That stuff is good. Not dry either.

Whole wheat sourdough sounds pretty solid. I bought a loaf of truckee brand sourdough and while it's good, it's pretty dry and probably not that good for you.

This is what I used to eat and liked it. However I've since switched to Sara Lee's hearty&delicious because it doesn't contain any high fructose corn syrup.

FYP

There are a ton of varieties of good bread. Try finding whole wheat flour as the main ingredient if going with wheat bread. All wheat breads are not the same. I'm thinking you can find a whole wheat/grain/some other combo of bread where you'll enjoy the taste.

Any with 100% whole wheat flour as first ingredient (not enriched or bleached flour) and one without HFCS (High Fructose Corn Syrup)

What's really da bomb is getting a bread machine and making your own bread. You can get very good ones for under a hundred bucks, and it's really, really easy. Nothing on earth like the smell of fresh bread baking too.
