Fortune Cookie Bet PART 2
 

Sry hate to do this but I accidently made the polls end at 12:01 today instead of tomorrow. Since there is $500 beans on the line, I'm going to restart the poll, at its finish I'll at the +1 point to number 2.

Just made a $500 bet on who got the better fortune cookie. We made this bet prior to opening the cookies. We are going to decide based on a poll here on the great 2P2.

For you idiots choosing 1, who cares what type of answer it gives, are you really are going to think of this as a fortune?

The question "Which fortune cookie is better" (which is pretty vague), not "Which fortune is better".

2 is such a weird fortune that it is much better than the standard answer you get in 1.

Number 1 is a boring cliche, while number 2 is delightfully weird and has that nice extra comma which just points out that it was written by a poorly paid Chinese guy, which is really what you're looking for in a fortune cookie.

Observations or philosophies should NOT be in fortune-cookies. They should be in Observation-Cookies as far as I'm concerned.

"You will come to an important crossroads in your life very soon" counts as a fortune.

"The wise man always looks before crossing the street" or "You are more wise when you are less stupid" are Observation-Cookies and totally suck.

In the 2 from the OP, the first one tells something about the future and the 2nd one tells something about the past.
Therefore I voted for the first one because it's more like what an actual fortune should be to my mind.
