taste in my mind, blech
 

am i the only one with this problem? I can't help but continue to imagine the taste of felt whenever i play live poker. I don't want to actually eat it or anything weird. I mean that I just have a strange tendency to imagine what it would be like to feel the texture of felt cloth inside my mouth. Ugh, it's terrible. The smooth rub of a chip helps to some degree, but I feel like a fuzzball is growing in the back of my throat. I can feel it right now just thinking about it. vomit...

I don't have the poker felt thing but had something similar. In elementary school our gynmasium had carpeted walls and I used to always imagine what it would be like to rub my front teeth on that carpet. It was this creepy thing though because just the thought of it gave me the heebie-jeebies worse than screeching fingernails on a chalkboard.
