Vb or C/C with Trips

Pretty new to the table, so I don't have any reads on the opponents.

Any comments on this hand. I was in two minds whether to value bet the river or check call.

Bet more on the flop
turn fine imo
river is either half pot bet or check

We need to know stacksizes. I'll assume villain has a fullstack and so do you. In that case you should vb 1/2-2/3 pot unless you're paranoid enough to put him on a set or flush. Lots of worse hands will call you. I don't like the flop bet, bet more or c/r.

If youre going to lead flop, lead for a bigger amount. The turn bet is a good size, and I definitely lead river. You cant assume UTG+1 has just rivered a flush because of his c/c on flop and turn. If he had A7 he had you the whole time anyway, so the A doesnt change much, other than him having pocket aces of course, but thats just a cooler. Bet around 12 on river, stack sizes would help though.

Fold preflop, include stacksizes.

Why would you ever c/c here? Such an easy vb. Also, bet more on the flop/turn
