Beat: By salary I mean monthly salary which is infact very [censored] low.

Ultra Beat: I have too tiny balls to move to 400nl, where I want to be so I can quit my job.

Shall I just quit work while Im a 200nl grinder?

But I cant grind 44hrs p/week :S

And I want my BR to grow, I dont want to have to cashout 2.5k each month and it be a massive hit to my rolls growth. But Im thinking I can earn a good 5-8k per month total, thats what winning full-time 200nl players hit right?

Oh, added varience: Each day I hit quads and a straight flush...

5-8k+ a month grinding 200nl is reasonable to good

say you withdraw only 2.5k a month, your BR still grows fast.

in fact, i would say just withdraw 1/2 your winnings every month / 2 weeks

i would only quit if worse case scenario happens and u go busto or have to move down to .50/1 and can still get a new job just like the old one. If that would be impossible I would stay at work till ur beating 2/4.

You're only making 2.2k a month at your job right now. If you played poker fulltime and had a decent rakeback deal you could make that with just RB. Almost all your winnings could go straight to your roll. I wouldn't suggest doing it until you have a few months expenses saved up, but you could easily make more than you are now even if you're a very mediocre winning player.

My roll is now 13,5k. I was up to 15k in april and spunked 3k going to Thailand, then recently I got back up to 18.5k but didnt feel like moving to 400nl so cashed out about 7k for treats (new laptop+2nd dell2007 screen) and also loads of expenses I had (inc moving into an un-furnished bedroom in new house).

I dont think Ill ever have to move down to .5/1 tbh, dont wanna jinx myself but Im a BR nit and have been grinding 200nl for 6-8 months now (almost exclusivly scince feb) and made something between 10-15k ish and have worked hard on my game transforming from 17/10 in Jan to now 23/18.

Thx for inputs here cos Im seriously considering quitting my job in mid December. I've worked there 1 yr now and can easily get another job of the same pay if things did f**k up.

Ultimatly I want to spend my life earning money doing something I really enjoy and am motivated for, so I can happily put in the hours and hopefully excell as much as possible. And currently, well for about 3-4 yrs now, ive had this devotion for poker. Its what I wanna do BBV [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]
