Bodog deposits - probably old news to those that use bodog

I just felt like gambling it up a little with some wsop and other random sports betting action. For the hell of it I tried to deposit using my normal credit card that always declines on gambling sites and it went through.

Instant funding, no fee, no accounts through foreign companies.

Is there a problem with it? Do they not mail checks or anything?

Checks are taking a long time right now. A lot of people are very upset about this. It takes 4 to 6 weeks to get a check right now, but it will probably get better. NuCharge is now an option for withdrawal and Western Union is expected to be back in a month or two. The check processor is backed up right now, partly due to WSOP payouts, and partly because checks were (just recently) the only option for American cashouts. I would not worry about getting money out of Bodog. You might have to wait for a check, but it looks like Bodog is taking care of this issue. Payouts should be faster in the near future, and IMO Bodog is not going to run off with anyone's money.

Check the "official bodog payout thread" er something like that. In general it takes at least a month to get a check and usually longer (21 business days by courier is what they SAY). Nucharge is supposed to speed things up, however I know nothing about how that works, other than it's supposed to be a phone card

Has anyone tried depositing using the "Instant Check" option? The one where you need to input a valid check number. Is that safe and does it work? Thanks!

It works. Just make up a check number. You can play with the money right away, but can't cashout until it clears, which will take a few weeks. When I deposited a few months ago, their processor was slow clearing the deposit even though it had already left my bank account. I faxed them my bank statement showing the charge and I could cashout a few hours later.

the above is accurate. Their processor is F'd, so the Instant Check deposit will not clear "on its own", and you'll have to fax them a bank statement if/when u want to cash out or make another Instant Check deposit...but that wasn't too much of a hassle for me, so it worked out fine.
