I felt like the raise was screaming AA/KK, with some but far less consideration to QQ/AKs, maaaaaybe JJ but doubtful. Only 15 hands into it though and so far villian has been involved with 2 pots, nothing out of the ordinary.

Am I a total nit giving $11 players too much credit on their range here or is this an easy fold?

I'd let this one go, a bit early to get committed to AK. Coinflip at best. Loads of better spots [img]/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img]

AK vs 77+,AKs,AKo is 42% vs 58%

I've seen plenty people here who suggest calling Ak in the very early levels.

i would be one of those guys usually in favor of callin this raise. i agree with you though Chip that raise is a petty big one and he is trying to tell you something. i don't think AA/or KK though im thinking more along the lines of QQ maybe JJ afraid to see a flop. with that being said it depends if you want to commit yourself. btw did he go to showdown with the two pots that he was in? and if so what did he show

This is where sharkscope is invaluable [img]/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img] At 11s vs a stranger this might be a +EV call although I think I prefer to lay it down and wait for better spots and better reads.. particularly since this is not a turbo.

I'm never calling this raise it's a fold/shove spot for me. I probably shove it the majority of the time in a low buy-in against an unknown.

To everyone saying push (which btw, i should have mentioned im either pushing or folding- never calling), what are you putting villian on? Cause with only 100 chips committed at 15/30 blinds in a nonturbo, i am certainly not looking to get it in on a coinflip. Do you guys think he has a worse A / AK often enough here to push, or that i actually have enough FE to get him off a pair. Generally when they reraise so large, they dont plan on folding, but maybe i havent been in this spot often enough.

I was about to vote along the shove - fold lines but missed it's a nonturbo. Given it's not a turbo, fold seems like the right thing to do. I'm going to guess that those that jumped out with shove also assumed turbo.

ummm. The situation is totally different. Blinds are much higher in other thread.
