man on a mission

I have decided that for the whole month of july,im only going to play 6.50 cent plo8 sngs,I play 10 at a time and it usually takes around 1 to 2 hours to play 10.Im gonna try to play 2000 sngs ,and my goal is to win 3k.Anyone think this is possible? I think the hard part is gonna be the 2k tourneys,i know i can get 1500 in.I invite all the donks to multi table with me

The ROI goal should be doable at that level (25%) though I don't know how much 10-tabling will handicap you (I never play more than 3 tables myself). I think doing that volume is the hard part. You will turn yourself into a PLO8 zombie...

I say go for it, but don't blow a gasket if you realize in the first few days that your goals involve too many tourneys. Being willing to adjust your goals is probably an important consideration here.

When i 10 table,i am only doing it for a short amount of time.It takes about 30-45 min to get all the tables going so by the time 10 pops up ,number 1 and 2 are down to end,and sometimes you bomb out of the first few.

2k in a month is going to be very hard.. the omaha sngs don't fill up as fast as a holdem sng. I also think 3k is not going to be attainable. I've played about 500 of these in my database.. 11.45 ROI. 25% just seems a little lofty to aim for considering the nature of omaha hands. I think something like 15-18% could be doable, maybe 20% for one of the very best omaha players.

well,i have recently played around 200 in the past few days and i have averaged 50 percent roi,i know that is running really good but i think 25 percent is no problem, and i am the best:)

GoneForever also had a thread recently where he showed 44% ROI over a couple hundred or more PLO8 SNGs. The 98% confidence interval for his true ROI was 24-64% as I recall. So it is possible. But GoneForever is certainly one of the best tournament/SNG PLO8 players here.

Re: man on a mission

200 sngs is not nearly a large enough sample. Anyone can have a 40% roi over 2-300, if I include holdem sngs.. or heads up sngs, I have quite a few stretches where I ran at 50%+

I'd be willing to wager over a sample size of say 2k sngs.. 25% is not attainable at anything above micro stakes where people have absolutely no clue what is going on

Re: man on a mission

as of right now my number of sngs are 2291 and total profit +3290,the low roi is bc of 5-6 200 holdem sngs going bad, pair over pair beat in 5 of them so i stop playing holdem sngs after that, lol.I would bet if i knew you
