Birthday party at a casino: brag or beat?

My birthday is coming up, and my friends know that I like poker so having my party at Foxwoods or Mohegan Sun came up (no pokah there, but is a nicer place, and if we are just going for a party and not much gambooling then its probs better). No one else is really that in to poker or gambling, but none are really against it. I really don't know if its a good idea or not.
