check and call river.
b/f river if it comes to it |
Re: 50NL Turned set on scary board
Looks kind of like JJ/QQ or even KK/AA with a club. Hard to say without having any PF numbers. You only have $32 behind... hmm, push.

Re: 50NL Turned set on scary board
i think its safe to say you are winning here unless a club comes on the river. this is heads up and flopping a flush just doesn't happen heads up and unless the villian is stupid only 77 would give him the straight.

Re: 50NL Turned set on scary board
Bet, there are a huge amount of scare cards on the river, and you most likely have the best hand. I would probably push, he is calling with a big part of his range.

Thanks for the comments. Anything wrong with the flop bet?

Re: 50NL Turned set on scary board
I like pf and flop. On the turn i'm unsure. We have a strong made hand with strong redraw so im inclined to get it in... I shove.

Re: 50NL Turned set on scary board
I make it $6 pre in position.
I usually bet turn here, but think I might have a leak in these spots. My temptation here is often to bet half villains remaining stack now and half on the river, as we don't want to scare him off JJ+/2p/whatever. The problem though is that if we do this, we are offereing villain ~3/1 and that seems a bit tight. So, I never know whether, once we plan to get it in no matter what, it is ok to risk offering reasonable odds with a smaller turn bet?? Kinda close our eyes and just bet 1/2 and 1/2. ~100BB stacks make this a not uncommon problem. |
