I'm pretty sure everything through the turn is standard, but correct me if I'm wrong. On the river, should I just check behind, or do you like my bet? And should I call his raise?

I am tempted to shove as well. But since this is an unraised pot, he could have a weird straight. I think I just call here, but I'm a nit.

I think I go against the grain and just call here. 24, 47, and 79 are all possible holdings for unknowns in the small blind. 79 was only a gusthot on the flop but people call these all the time in unraised pots. Why didnt hero raise pre anyway? This hand would have played out so much easier if he had.

Anyhow, the river minraise looks more for value and with all the straight cards out there I seriously doubt this is 2pair. Villain could easily just call with this, and I can't begin to understand how this could be a bluff. I seriously dont think that villain got here by slowplaying an overpair or 2pair and then raising the riv.

I do think there is value in betting out on this river but no value in pushing over that min raise. You're getting odds to call and hope he has an overpair or 2pair.
