Beat: Paid $3 more rake than earned over last 43k hands
 

anyone else "pay" more than they earned. (with sample size)

I have 5 databases and I was just looking at my lastest one and it shows three dollars more of rake than winnings over a small but, not too small sampling of 43k hands.

Nope, I've never not won more than 2ptbb or so over any sample.

This seems as good a time as any to ask, what does beating the rake mean?

Does beating the rake mean earning $200 after playing 1000 hands and paying $300 in rake, meaning you took $500 off the players?

Or does beating the rake mean me earning $500 after playing 1000 hands and paying $300 in rake, meaning you took $800 off the players?
