Post that was just deleted

So about the post that was just deleted, as was Josh's suggestion, how many people have tried the trial? I'm a bit paranoid about trying unknown software, so I'm hoping some other people can tell me it's safe.

I agree -- although it was spammy, it's something that most of us care very much about.

How bout an exception in these times of duress mods?

my point wasn't that it's spam. spam implies unsolicited and that certainly wasn't unsolicited. i just thought it would be best to keep out the link and the conversation revolving around it. maybe he can set up an email list for interested people?

Teddy, the post was not deleted due to spamminess. It was deleted for the protection of the project. Josh's suggestion was a very good one, but I haven't seen the follow-up thread, yet. I'm also wondering how many others have tried the software, and whether or not it's legit.

[/ QUOTE ]We often allow developers 1 announcement of their product, especially if it's a benefit to the forum and they're a respected poster. From then on, they're only to answer direct questions. (For instance, Josh answers "How do I fix PAHud?", but stays quiet with regards to "What HUD should I use?". Josh = awesome.)

I deleted the thread because the OP requested it. As far as I'm concerned, he's still allowed his one announcement.

[/ QUOTE ]I'm using it as we speak. Seems to work as advertised. I'm running a firewall, and it hasn't requested net-access yet, so I guess it's safe.

Ok, I'm trying the program right now. Does anyone have a guess as to what the risk of getting one's account shut down is? I like this stuff as much as anyone else, but it's not worth losing my bankroll over.
