What will happen on 6/14?

I keep hearing about June 14th being significant with online poker. What exactly will happen on this day? Can we still play online?

July 10 is the deadline for the UIGEA regulations to be issued. They have not been issued and are not likely to meet the deadline. I don't know why June 14th is special. The WSOP will be in full swing.

Isn't June 14th roughly when Neteller's 75 days are up?

It could be the Neteller deadline. That would be interesting. 6/14 could be when the draft regs are due to be issued for comments.

Are they giving people their money back around that time?

[/ QUOTE ]No, that's when they're supposedly going to announce the "plan" to give back money.

I think you mean June 04, that is when the day the 75 day plan is due from Neteller to the DoJ. Now, as to when the DoJ accepts that plan is another question.
Then following that is the when / if we get our money.

Yes, the UIGEA rules are to take effect July 10, however, they need to be posted for public comment at least 30 days prior to taking effect (some require 45 & 60 days so....), That would be June 10 at a minimum for the rules comment period to begin.

You can keep check if they have been posted for comment @
