Get a facebook?
 

I could never get a myspace because of the cheap layout and association with News Corp and Rupert Murdoch, but recently have considered creating a facebook account.

I'm nearing the end of my junior year in hs and have yet to create an account on any of these sites. Out of pure stubbornness I've continued to hold out, thinking that I can't give in after coming this far.

But it's time to face the facts. My social life blows, and I suck with girls. Something has to change.

Should I suck it up or remain steadfast in my avoidance of anything related to these types of sites?

if you have no social life, then by all means do anything you can, even if it means lowering yourself to the status of internet attention whore which is making a facebook/myspace account. If I were you I would have made one already, although I can't since I don't have a single cool pic of myself (haven't had a picture taken in years) and i am currently broke.

Facebook was great for chatting up with old friends I haven't talked to in years. If you have no friends to begin with then your life will probably still suck after.

Facebook's stupid, just like myspace's are stupid and just like Nexopia is stupid. All that is posted on it are stupid pictures of people drunk/puking/doing stupid things/somewhat softcore preteen pics, which all suck except for the last, which you can find by searching on the net anyway if that's all you're after. Or maybe you enjoy the most retarded conversations involving wall-to-wall posts. Whatever.

That's just why I don't use it. Not to mention, if I started using it like my friends have been trying to get me to for god knows how long, I'd probably start using it a lot more than necessary, and that's not something I want.
