Flopped a set, straight draw gets there on turn

170bb's deep. Villain is around 30/21/1.2 and I've been playing pretty aggresively against him, reraising in position and cbetting often.

If you call, what's the plan on river?

If he pushes? (Will have 100 left in 130 pot)

If he checks?

I don't like raising at all. You're drawing live to the 8 (which would have called you for sure on the flop, giving him midsuited connectors, or 88).

Because you're drawing plenty live (that has to be the belief) you'd just hate to raise here and have him push over the top - because you'd have to call.

A less important consideration: If the River doesn't pair and you just want to call you're also protecting yourself from a set of Tens or Jacks (thought the least likely it's the worst spot we can be in, and plenty possible).

Call. But what to do on the river if it blanks and he shoves?

yea, I guess someone w/ that low an AF will rarely shove that river w/out a str8 or higher set.
