Am I socially \'out of the loop\' since I don\'t have a myspace/facebook?
 

My friends tell me that it's a necessity to have a myspace and/or facebook, but I've never really felt the need to make an account. Am I socially dumb/retarded/out of the loop?

how old are you? all my friends are doing that stuff, but I dont, and im not socially out of the loop. Im 24, I can see how an 18 year old would differ though.

I can't stand myspace. I don't think I've ever seen a myspace page without an absurdly awful page layout.

being socially out of the loop doesn't make you a loser. Hell, a lot of times Ill TRY to be out of the loop if Im wanting to get away from going out etc all the time.

basically everyone I know from 19-22 (i'm obviously in that range) has a facebook account. It's really not all that exciting, but I see no reason NOT to have one

I'm in the same boat. As a college student, I know very few
classmates who don't have an page at facebook/myspace. People give me [censored] about it all the time.
