I stayed at the Excalibur in march and this is what i tried.

I asked for a Killian red. Waitress told me that they only served bud, coors and miller. I asked for a Heineken and she obliged.

I asked for a grey goose and oj. Waitress told me that they only served smirnoff.

I guess you cant get much at excalibur.

I know right next door your supposed to be able to order better stuff according to this website www.cocktaildoll.com.

Wynn and Bellagio are top of the heap. No doubt. Anything you want basically.

Venetian is also great, especially if you like beer.

If you want a low limit room, MGM is pretty accomodating.

Yeah, Excalibur is really bad. I had pretty much the same conversations. If a liquor is more than $25 per handle, they don't have it.

WOW! You beat me to it but I was going to say The Venetian:

I order Grand Marnier. The waitress brings me a 'bucket' of it. I look at it in amazement. She says 'Not enough? I'll be right back.'

What is this Grand Marnier that old people seem to speak about? Would it be something I would want to try inbetween my Coronas, Long Islands, White Russians, Jaeger, and 2/4 limit blind capping?

And if so, how does one pronounce it?

Grand Marnier is an orange liqueur, similar to triple sec, made with cognac.

It's French, so say the Grand as in "Grand Prix" and then Marnier rhymes with "barn-yay".

I don't like it straight, but many do.
