Rivered straight on 3F board

Villain is horrible and loves to bluff. After his first river bet his range is almost ATC but I haven't seen him 3bet bluff a river before.

51/3/1.5 over 150 hands.

Button ($12.20 in chips)
Hero ($706.75 in chips)
BB ($200.00 in chips)
UTG ($210.35 in chips)
CO ($280.55 in chips)

Hero is SB with Q[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] T[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]

PRE-FLOP
1 fold, CO calls $2, 1 fold, Hero calls $1, BB checks.

FLOP K[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 3[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] J[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]
Hero checks, BB checks, CO bets $2.50, Hero calls $2.50, BB folds.

TURN 4[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]
Hero checks, CO bets $5, Hero calls $5.

RIVER A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]
Hero checks, CO bets $10, Hero bets $40, CO bets $100, Hero ?

I called because he sucks but didn't feel that good about it. I thought he would show up with a slowplayed set or 2p often enough.

I would shove here, it is unlikely he was betting a backdoor flushdraw on the flop and the As on the river also cancels a lot of his holdings that could have made a flush (AsJs mainly). I think it is much more likely he holds a set, 2 pair or QT for the split pot.

I'm def. not folding here. I agree with Jagga value push. Villain will call with 2 pair, set and flushes.

yea i like a push also, he isnt betting a backdoor flush, at best its a chop but most likely he will pay you off with his other hands, value push

I would just call. Looks like the flush or a cheap bluff.

I'm surprised everyone wants to shove here. I've always had the idea that I'm too passive on the river so I guess I'll have to look into that

Thanks for the replies
