When villain is stacking off...

I've been at the table for about an orbit or two, and it looks like the preflop 3-bettor is looking for a place to stack off. He wasn't doing 100/100, but when he entered pots with his short stack, he was relentless in his betting/raising. In this hand, he had 3 BB left after he posted his blinds.

1) Should I raise the flop against this type of player?
2) Do you think the turn raise is a good play to clean up my reasonably likely pair outs or should I call and fold the river UI?

Meh, you're either getting BB's stack or not. I dislike, as always, raising to clean up outs. If SB has a hand that you have that sort of trouble against, he's likely not folding to the 2[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]. If you insist on raising to clean up outs, do it on the flop while your equity is higher for your double-gutty.

Yep, if you are pretty sure that BB is putting all his money in, I would raise the flop to shut out SB there. It would be nice if SB folds, because your Jack or Ten might be good against BB. But if SB calls, you probably have a slight equity edge vs two opponents.

IMO this makes no sense whatsoever. Call call fold. He is getting it all in with A high or better so your fold equity against him is nothing - you need to hit to win. Keep SB in the pot.

Raise the turn with hands that can win UI. This doesn't make any sense at all with T-high.

I like call-call on this.

this is terrible, its like the exact opposite of what you should be thinking/doing.

he is going all in which means you have NO fold equity.

pump your draws after you make them and not before

I think you should have raised the flop to get it HU. Then check the turn through and hope to have your hand somewhat improved with your most likely 14 outs.

Re: When villain is stacking off...

After reading Miles' post I realized that getting it HU is useless. Why would we want to get SB out of there? Plus, if we raised the flop we're most likely going to call a 3-bet with that read. Getting HU with a strong draw is overrated??
