Standard bluff c/r spot?

this is not an actual HH but just a general example.

hero is BB with T8d lets say. CO raises, hero calls.

flop Kd 7s 6s

check bet call.

turn Ad

check bet raise.

yes?

Ok-- judging from your post you play a very aggro LAG style which is fine. I think you are using the word standard a little too liberally. In fact when you say "standard" I think "almost never"

This hand where your c-raise the turn vs cut off raiser seems very optimistic especially if you actually play the way you seem to. I would expect you to be getting called down extremely light in all of the situations you have posted.

after thinking, i think i made that board too good for this idea. if lets say the Qd was on the flop instead of the K and the turn A was replaced by the K I think this works better. i am looking to fold out good aces and small pairs.

I think this is a good spot for a c-r, because since he was the pf raiser and wants to represent an A, he will be that turn with any holding including those he plans to fold to a raise. He doesn't have to fold very often at all. Also it makes you look like a donk which is good.

Well i would expect to get called by A10 and Aj in the situation you describe. I do think you will get a fair amount of folds by CRing here however a K and Q hits villians range slap in the face and I think many will not bet underpairs on the turn so your only really folding out AX hands and trash. The Ax hands often check the turn hoping to snap off a river bluff. Overall i doubt it's worth it as when villian bets here he has a reasonable hand often.
