Stars PLO8: call or fold this bottom FH?

Button and I have been talking a little bit of trash since I took $20 out of his stack in a NLD vs top set showdown. Neither of us seeming really tilted though. Then this hand came up... not being able to lay down lower full houses is a serious leak in Omaha; is this river the place to do it?

PokerStars Pot-Limit Omaha/8, $0.25 BB (9 handed)
MP2 ($20.25)
MP3 ($18.65)
CO ($23.55)
Button ($36.50)
SB ($25.35)
BB ($41.15)
Hero ($37.40)
UTG+1 ($18.05)
MP1 ($25.25)

Preflop: Hero is UTG with A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 2[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 3[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 3[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img].
Hero raises to $0.85, 5 folds, Button calls $0.85, 1 fold, BB calls $0.60.

Flop: ($2.65) 5[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 3[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], K[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (3 players)
BB checks, Hero bets $2.55, Button calls $2.55, BB calls $2.55.

Turn: ($10.30) 9[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (3 players)
BB checks, Hero bets $9.8, Button calls $9.80, BB folds.

River: ($29.90) 5[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (2 players)
Hero checks, Button bets $23.3 (All-In), Hero ... ???

The turn isn't really a rational way of playing top 2 or a set.

You only need to be ahead 30% of the time to call. I think you see a made flush or a bluff more than often enough given the way this hand went down.

How did the other hand go down?

I usually call here unless I've seen him playing sets passively. If he's decent K5 doesn't make much sense either.

This seems like a reasonable call to me for all the reasons stated above. The button also could have put you on a busted low draw (or have a busted draw themselves) and is trying to scare you out of the pot.

The other hand went down like this:

PokerStars Pot-Limit Omaha/8, $0.25 BB (9 handed)

CO ($20.60)
Button ($20.50)
SB ($24.75)
BB ($55.10) -> Villain in the other hand
UTG ($31.45)
UTG+1 ($41.75)
Hero ($20.15)
MP2 ($25.40)
MP3 ($13.90)

Preflop: Hero is MP1 with 6[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 2[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 8[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img].
UTG calls $0.25, UTG+1 calls $0.25, Hero raises to $1.35, 1 fold, MP3 calls $1.35, 3 folds, BB calls $1.10, UTG folds, UTG+1 folds.

Flop: ($4.65) 3[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], J[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 6[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (3 players)
BB checks, Hero bets $4.45, MP3 calls $4.45, BB raises to $22.25, Hero calls $14.35 (All-In), MP3 folds.

Turn: ($50.15) 4[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (2 players, 1 all-in)

River: ($50.15) 5[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (2 players, 1 all-in)

Final Pot: $50.15

Results:
BB has Js Jd Kc Qd (High: three of a kind, jacks).
Hero has 6d 2c Ac 8d (Low: 5, 4, 3, 2, A | High: straight, six high).
Outcome: Hero wins $46.70. BB wins $3.45.

I'd be a little steamed too if I was villain, given that hero only had a 5% chance to scoop this pot. On the other hand, I did have 41% equity on the flop, so it's not like calling his checkraise was incorrect. He seemed to feel otherwise though

I would call here as well, for two reasons.

1. As Phil said, two pair or a set should have popped the turn.

2. If he has a better hand than you, he probably should be betting smaller and trying to entice a call. Betting the pot appears to be him trying to get a fold. I can't see how he reasonably could think you have a better hand than him if he has a full house.

OBviously he has A2 diamonds for the nut flush

OR

He had top set, but played it passivly thinking you were a luck box on a flush/low draw and thinks you will call his river push?

I think both scenarios are about equal and since you are getting more than 2:1, you should call.

I'm curious about the turn play, is that the right way to play this hand?

Re: Stars PLO8: call or fold this bottom FH?

You are asking about me potting it on the turn??? I can hardly imagine not doing so in this situation. Sometimes someone will have a higher set, but more often someone will be on a draw, and I want to be charging the max - or taking down the pot right there ($10 in a $0.25 game is a pretty decent chunk).
The only argument I see for not potting it is if I think a nut low draw with a worse high than mine will fold to a PSB on the turn, but would call a smaller turn bet and allow himself to be quartered on the river if the low comes. With both heart and diamond flush draws on the board, though, I think the odds of making a low that doesn't also make a flush don't look that good. I'm just as likely to be one of the players getting quartered if I let some other NLD see the river for cheap.

Re: Stars PLO8: call or fold this bottom FH?

So given the unanimous advice to call it sounds like I should have had an easier time making this decision than I did. I tanked for a long time (almost used up my clock) and did call, and he had the nut flush, so I scooped. The big river bet gave me pause because it's not a sensible way to play the hand he actually did have; does he think I'm going to pay him off with AAxx or a busted low draw? In hindsight I think he was just overjoyed to have made his hand against what he probably thought was AAxx or A2xx of some sort, so he potted it without much thought as to whether it was really the right move.
