1/2 at nyc club 9 handed.

table is awful. no good players. i am playing tight and still getting paid off on all my hands. type of table where 'nobody believes you have it' type attitude. everybody thinks everybody is bluffing.

stacks:
SB - 200
BB - 350
ME (MP1) - 600
MP2 - 150
HJ - 450
BT - 300

i open from MP1 to 15 with J [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]J [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]. all above stacks call. fun fun...

(90) flop is 6 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]6 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]8 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]

SB checks, BB bets 30, I .....

I'm raising, if anyone else calls or raises someone def has a 6. If the original bettor calls I check behind him if he checks turn. If original bettor reraises easy fold.

are you ever putting anymore money into this pot unimproved?

1. Yes c/f
2. If we both check turn I call/bet river if another 8 does not come or a card higher than ur J
3. If a 6 comes off I'm convinced I have the best hand. If you are correct in assessing all of these players as bad I am putting this guy on an 8. Most bad players do not lead out with three 6's. If you raise and he calls flop and checks turn you have best hand IMO.

My initial instinct would be to raise it to $90.

I'm surprised a fold was recommended by the first two posters - unless we accept pre-flop that we're just playing for set value.

I have live games like this where I play - usually ends with 3 people getting it all in. One has an overpair, one has an 8 and the other has the flush draw!
