Same 20/40 game as before. My image is probably tightish and spazzy, as I have been running poorly, but I won a hand 5 minutes ago with KK against one of the bigger calling stations, so it might be a bit more solid. Onto the hand.

Semi-aggro player raises in EMP, total fish calls, folds to me in the BB and I call 77.

Flop:

I check, PFR bets, fish calls, I raise, PFR 3-bets, fish calls.

Cap and lead the turn or call and try C/R the turn?

I think this is an easy smooth call and turn checkraise. No reaistic draws. The presence of the fish makes the smooth call checkraise a cinch play I think. This is a wet dream hand by the way.

I CR this every day of the week and twice on sunday. I am a big street whore and the fish calling that flop often means "me have pair, me calling all bets to spike my 5 outer". Getting him trapped in for another turn bet (or two) with what looks pretty likley to be an overpair is way too juicy to pass up.

I think people too frequently cr the turn when leading is better, but this spot is prime for the turn check-raise b/c you can trap the fish without forcing him to call 2 bets cold. great spot to use it. that said, capping flop isn't much worse.

Tight and spazzy usually don't go together. Perfect place to call and check raise them both.
