Isn't this book apply mainly to LIMIT holdem only? Are you a mainly a limit player?

Figure out how to break even first. Once you can break even you can play enough (without going broke) to gain a good base of experience. Once you break even you can also experiment with your play (intelligently) to find something that allows you to be a winner.
