not trying to spam this forum. just some things im not sure about.
what is the difference between blue and green on the mods?
either have more power then the next?
is there a difference between mods with the "m" and ones without?
do people apply for this job or does a mod offer it if wanted for good posts and such...

green = moderator

blue = author

red = admin

The moderators of the forum you're in have the m. So if Mike Haven were to post in this thread you would see it on him, but noone else (the other mods for this forum are admins).

If you went to the Puzzles and Other Games forum you would see that Durron and I both have the m in posts there.

did you guys get to choose your forums? if not how was it decided who went where? if so did seniority dictate who gets first choice and so on?

You're thinking about it in the wrong order I think. Posters are generally chosen to moderate a certain forum rather then being made mods and then given a forum.

I was once the mod of the dating/relationship forum. It got too many views and crashed 2p2 though, so they removed it.
