Jumping in Stakes is baaad

I am currently playing 200nl after killing it a year ago. I made a huge but neccessary cashout and my bankroll went from 60k to 10k (dont ask why ). Before cashout I was playing 600nl and 1knl on stars, fulltilt and cakepoker.

Right now I am struggling with 200nl and its not easy money like I would it expect to be, although my sample size is extremely small. Here is some common mistakes I keep making...
1.) Outrageous bluffs
I am bluffing way way way too much when I probally dont need too.

2.) Semibluffing: when I really have no FE against some players because they are not bluffing me as much as I'd expect them too.

3.) Calling down too lightly

4.) Tons of other stuff that worked well that is just horrible when I apply it to ssnl.

Just thought it was interesting how you think someone who did fairly well at msnl (and ssnl a while back) is not crushing ssnl. I honestly thought I could kill it instead I am up like 1k over 20k hands. I understand this incredibly small sample but I think I could be up wayyyyy more if I was playing optimal. I just feel like its a completely different game. Heres an excerpt I read from triumphs post that I really agree....

Also moving down can seriously hurt a player as it makes them have to readjust their frequences - and makes them have to fold more. Some people lost their fold buttons playing in aggro 10/20 games - against the nits one finds at these limits, it can often be correct to fold overpairs or not push with big draws as hard as one is used to.

I am sure I will run a little better, and get the hang of it. I want to get out of 200nl and back into 400/600 ASAP then go back to stakes I was originally grinding before this whole cashout ordeal. Looks like I am going to have to first adjust to the game and be way more tight predictable and stop with the FPS. Then when I eventually get out of ssnl and back to where I originally was then I will have to teach myself everything I tried to forget.

Cliff notes:
-Cashing out and playing way lower is bad
-MSNL and SSNL are way different

the need to ball son

in all serious did you take the time to calculate the time cost of this cashout? maybe you should have cashed out less and worked overtime to cover whatever expense.

20k hands should be enough for adapting.

Original Br 10K+2K won at NL200 = 12K = 20BI @NL400, should you just take a shot at NL400 right now and try to build your BR there ?

$1k in 20k hands is 2.5 PTBB/100. You'll win x times more by:
<ul type="square"> [*] playing your hand and not a range of hands[*] understand that your opponent plays his hand (i.e. my hand is bad I fold; good I call; great I raise)[*] not assuming that your opponent puts you on a hand (he has no clue of what you're trying to show him)
And yes that's boring but simply playing your hands better than the opposition will do. Do I hit?

i know its 'shot taking', but NL2/4 on 20 stacks is a horrendous idea.
