200NL - overpair + fd up against a tricky LAG.

villain is ItsMrFish2U from Party 200. I have him at about 32/20/1.5 over 400 hands. He seems to pick on me alot - I've been running veeery bad at Party and I think he sees me as a TAG who is somewhat weak and exploitable postflop. He constantly leads flops against me in HU situations, he's quite a station (by this I mean he gets to showdown ALOT), and he makes alot of big, borderline spewy bluffs. Is this standard? I'm trying to think of a worse hand that calls me on this turn after he calls the flop.. I think a set or flush would get it in on the flop - so what it do SSNL?

I like a turn check or 1/2 pot and call a push..I think the only hand he calls this with that we do beat is A [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] Qx

The reason I don't like a turn check is because I figured that I was still ahead (given my assumption that he'll get it AI on the flop with a better hand), and his line is fairly consistent with AsQx (fwiw I think he will often 3bet it preflop, but he does mix it up alot). 1/2 pot may have been better than a push though I don't think it makes too much difference in what he calls and folds. I think he knows that I'm starting to get frustrated with his constant flop leads so maybe he's calling my flop raise somewhat light? Ugh, I dunno.

Any more thoughts guys?

Strange line by him. Looks a lot like a flopped set but I doubt any solid player would play it so slow on that board (especially his turn check). That's a tough hand bud. The turn shove is fine IMO... but alternately you could check the turn and induce a bet from a Queen / As / bluff (although I don't see him calling flop w air).

don't think he'd risk letting it get checked through on the turn if he got there with a set. A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]Q would prob. get it in on the flop but he might play a flush like this. i dunno really, he has to play something like this. even 6[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]8[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]'s gotta lead the turn right. yeah i don't know either, check turn?
