Should I have lead this flop or c/r?

Re: Should I Have Lead The Flop?.......

In general when I have TT or JJ as an overpair OOP I am not too excited about it.

I would either c/c the flop then 2/3 pot a safe turn or lead 2/3 pot and then 1/2 pot the turn if he calls. If I come up against any aggression, then I usually c/f.

Does villain minraise preflop alot? If not, then I would definitely not be excited about my hand at all.

I would lead out with a strong flop bet.C/R is a line I will almost never take. you are putting a lot of money in oop and might not even have the best hand. I will play my sets the same way.

Does anyone re-raise preflop to try to knock out the limper and get the hand heads up?

I'd RR PF most of the time.

c/c flop is fine if villain is active. First, you let him cbet bluff; Second, if your flop bet gets raised now you have to make a tough decision with 2 streets til showdown (and he could be raising with a 9/overpair/draw/etc;)

I'd probably lead most turns in this spot after c/c'ing the flop. If you get raised here, you're usually beat.
