Do you honestly care about Global Warming?

I don't. I mean, most of the stuff that is going to happen is going to occur at least 20 or 30 years down the line if not 100 years. Yea, sure my kids or grandkids may have to buy oceanfront property in Kansas, but how does that affect me?

I mean, does it really matter that Miami won't exist when I'm dead?

none of its even been proven, imo its much more likely just further scare tactics.

but assuming it was real, no i dont care about it at all.

Hmm...I've thought about this before, but I think it would be frowned upon to say you don't care at all about the future of the human race. The way I figure it, our extinction is pretty much inevitable right? So fighting against global warming seems like a donk sucking out on me: only delaying what is bound to happen. And about the validity of global warming, I forget which organization, but it was recently reported after a series of studies that global warming was more than 95% likely to be a real phenomenon, so I do not believe it is false, the question is, do you care more about yourself or the future of your race? Because stopping global warming will require sacrifice by all.

By the same token, all ethical and moral codes/rules can be safely flushed down the drain.

Not that I have a problem with that, but I thought you might.

Hahahaha nice one, but can't we appreciate the art of sarcasm by returning kudos and not more sarcasm? Kudos to you sir, that was pretty funny. And yes, your powers of prediction are astounding (violated my own rule there about the sarcasm, didn't I? hehe), I would have a problem with that.

I care very little about conservation or any of that kind of stuff. Why should I make a sacrifice for future creatures that may or may not even exist. They aren't around to use the resources, and might never be. The way I look at it, I ought to please myself to make sure those resources don't go to waste when we nuke the world.

I "care about it" in the same sense that I care about a phenominon like the increasing average population age of 1st-world nations. It will no doubt lead to some very real problems, but there is not much you can realistically do to stop it. And at the same time, if you'd like to work yourself up over "impending doom," there are other issues that deliver much more worry per thought-hour invested.
