Probability of trips VS Trips

Twice this week I have flopped trips and another person has flopped a better set.(online) What are the chances of 2 people flopping a set in a 6 max game? (2 people see the flop).

I have only had this happen once to me in a live game.

How often does this happen to you?

Can you get more specific on the exact question you want answered? Are you asking what the chances of a set over set occurring on the flop if you both had pocket pairs? i.e. 55 vs. 88 on a flop of K85... or trips over trips, like A6 vs. K6 on a flop of Q66. Lemme know the situation and I'll help ya out

If two players start with pocket pair, it's 1% chance that both will hit set.

Yeah Joey.. Probability of QQ vs KK both flopping a set.

The second question is given that I had pocket Queens, what is the probability that another player at my table would flop a higher set with a pocket pair (when heads up)preflop)

(Heads up),
What then would be the prob that on a board of

X-X-Y,
where you hold X-Z, your opponent holds X-Q
