Road Trip

Me and my poker cult (home game buddies) are planning a poker road trip. We live in Michigan and have it narrowed down to AC or Tunica.

We have all been to vegas, never AC or Tunica.

Where should we go and why?

Re: Road Trip

Havent been to AC. Games and comps are excellent in Tunica. Reserve your room well in advance and ask about the poker rate. Reccomend staying at Sams Town, Goldstrike or Horsehoe. Definitly play at goldstrike and horseshoe. Make sure you party on Beale st. in Memphis one night. Read the "tunica" thread

Re: Road Trip

Cliffhanger. Biggest variable is the weather. Never drive through Pennsylvania during a snow storm, trying to get to New Jersey. A.C. is better when it's warm outside. Next is action. If you are planning on higher action for extended hours, it has to be A.C. For stuff like 20/40 and lower, and those new max. buy-in games, Goldstrike Tunica should suffice. Check for tournaments, circuits, etc.--always more action when a bunch of people are in town. If you go to Tunica, from Michigan, there are about three different casinos in Indiana you can check-out as side trips, like Caesar's Indiana.
