Favorite line or two from a song (NOT entire verse!)

What are your favorite couple of lines from a song? In my mind, sometimes a couple great lines will endear the entire song to me.

There are tons of lines I dig, but a couple that I am especially down with at the moment:

Lil Jon & The East Side Boyz -- "Knockin Heads Off"
Rapped by Styles P:

I'm Holiday Styles, where the [censored] you thuggin' at
I knock off ya head with a Louisville Slugger bat

So mean and growdy. I love it. (But I bet most y'all will hate it)

On a different note, I totally cant remember the other freakin lyrics that I was gonna post. Forget it. It's from a Brian Jonestown Massacre song called "Spanish Bee"

BTW, you can d/l most every BJM song at brianjonestownmassacre.com. I strongly suggest checking them out. It's all free!

The Replacements ('I Can't Wait'):

Jesus rides beside me.
He never buys any smokes.

Beastie Boys ('Hey Ladies'):

There's more to me than you'll ever know,
And I got more hits than Sadaharu Oh.

Really hard to pick out a few lines but these jumped into my head right away so I'll use them.

This line is by Prospect from "Off Wit His Head" by Big Pun

"Picture Me Rollin" like 'Pac in the drop, my style too hot
to figure out, oh Lord, please don't make me put this nigga out

Lyrically its nothing special but the way it sounds in the flow of the song always catches my attention.

Killah Priest "High Explosive"

I smell a corpse, I stomp through hell with a blazing torch
riding a pale horse, with the pitch fork,
my head full of sick thoughts leaving arms,
ripped off, my legs are criss-crossed

I listen to this song just for these four lines

Gravediggaz "1-800 Suicide" this is from RZA's verse

Six [censored] devils stepped up playing brave God
Had the [censored] nerve to try and enta my grave yard

Yes, you have met the dangerous 208 year-old Uncle of Dr. Octagon.
I myself Mr. Gerbik. Half-shark, half-man, skin like alligator.
Carrying a dead walrus. Check it.

I sat here for ten minutes trying to decide, and couldn't come up with any that stand out over the others.

But I was reminded of a story from my youth. It was the mid-80's, and I was down at the local poolroom, waiting for the rest of the regulars to arrive so we could start our afternoon game of Hearts. One of the old guys says, "I watched 'Saturday Night Live' last night. They had this guy Hammer as the musical guest. He kept singing, 'Too legit, too legit to quit! Too legit, too legit to quit!' I kept waiting for the next verse, but that was it, the same line over and over. 'Too legit, too legit to quit!'

"This guy's another Ira Gershwin!"
