I 3 bet here PF.

His flop bet is weak (4 into 7) so I really do not know what to make of that.

3 betting pf woulda made things easier, but i think its pretty standard as played

Yeah once you smooth call the flop I like a fold on the turn. He's got at least a K here most likely and if he has AK/KK/AA/88 here we're in trouble. Would he fire another barrel with less than Kx here?

We're getting the odds to call this turn bet aren't we?

EDIT: Sorry, not thinking. I like the fold.

i don't think i call this a big draw. one over and nut flush is pretty standard.

pf re-raise to 3.5. call turn and i think you must call turn. i go broke here all the time. is your read a boat already? i call villian depending on stack sizes which im sure other poeple already asked that you include.

Just looking though and noticed this hand which reminded me of one I posted a couple days ago in small stakes. So I thought I'd throw it up here. Definetly think you played the hand a little passive. Start to think about 3 betting this preflop and then think about being in his shoes. It sucks when you raise and the button 3 bets you right. You have to play the hand OOP against a guy with the lead and possibly a better hand, unless he 4 bets you which should be a pretty easy fold right? So think about repoping guys with quality hands in position a bit more and I think you'll have some success.
