small stakes limit omaha. v. B&M

I think I die a little inside every time I play.

join the club. 4/8 OHL is like taking a needle in the pee-hole

why specifically, I used to play 4/8 o8 then they switched to 5/10. I kept careful records on this game and was +$1200 for seven months of play, approx a little less than 1 nite per week.

there were three really obvious things to do at this:

1: it was two tables with a must move. Get there late so you could stay at the bottom table. the players at the top table weren't that much better overall, but they were better.

2: Play good starting hands. Raise for value. Rinse. Repeat.

3: Draws are fine, after the flop (because if you've raised in PF, pot odds will almost always be there) as long as you are drawing to the nuts.

I've done both and quite prefer the latter.

Its such a patience game. Even more so when you go to showdown once in a three hour session and buddy snaps a higher boat on the river after you flop the nutter.

4/8 is bad? Hrm.. maybe I shouldn't talk about my 3/6 full kill addiction.

At least the players I'm with are retarded enough to recognize that I play 'so tight he farts rock dust,' yet give me action on all my big hands.

Agreed. My #1 biggest leak in Limit o8 is getting impatient and playing too many hands.. I usually just try to find someone interesting to talk to.

Unfortunately, I have no game to play right now and am forced to play NLHE (1/2), because we can't get 08 going. I need to find it soon, because it's an ATM if you are patient enough.
