I hear a rumor from a friend who posts on P5's that PokerStars may pull out of the U.S. market in the next week. Here's a link...

Idk how true it is as you can see Neverwin says jee1's sources aren't as reliable as some.

Is this just another panic? Or do you see truth in these? Have any of you heard anything? Just tryin to get some things clear. Thoughts/bashes welcomed.

You are right but lately is does seem like this is going to happen sooner or later. Right now some sites have left and other sites its becoming a pain in the ass to get money in and out. It just seems like its only going to get worse.

The fact that the DoJ is still pursuing Dikshit seems to spoil the primary motivation for sites pulling out. In fact, no longer having a US operation might simply lessen their leverage in a hypothetical future plea bargain if they ever did get caught.

I am trying to be optimistic, but have a bad feeling.

And these rumors about new payment processors and methods, I just dont see it.

Fact is we all failed....I know very few poker players that took the effort to fight what is going on now. I know many here did, I'm talking in general.

It looks like the US Government is going to win on this one.

I just started playing at PS in October (after moving from Party). I had kept a small balance at Stars (because of all the turmoil) and lost it last weekend. Woe is me, what to do next?

I have a bit of cash left at Neteller and will probably wait and see. What are you guys gonna do?
