Am I just really dense?
There are a bazillion real-money poker sites. Many of them have caved in to that absurd "Safe Ports" legislation, but not all have caved. Some still allow real-money gambling by Americans. Most sites require downloading a Windows app but some sites allow you to play from a browser running a Java app. But search as I might, I've had no luck finding real-money for U.S. gamblers sites that utilizes a Java interface. PLEASE tell me that there are those here far smarter than I am who know the URLs of sites that meet those requirements.

Re: Am I just really dense?
I'm really curious as to what difference this makes?
I think that Pacific used to do this, but they are now closed to US players. |
Re: Am I just really dense?
For instance, right now I'm on a library computer where I can't downloaded software but could play a Java-based game.

Re: Am I just really dense?
Online poker, Java or not, probably isn't the best plan on a library computer...
IIRC there's at least one with a Java client that still allows U.S. players...can't remember at the moment which, though. Check out the threads about Mac-compatible sites. |
Re: Am I just really dense?
Would Pitbull Poker work? It uses flash and requires no download.

Re: Am I just really dense?
Is the library is the US?
