Re: Bottom Pair, Heads Up, Donking the Turn?
I don't believe that this is considered donking the turn, but I'd probably be done putting in any money when he calls the flop.

Stupid hand anyway.
And your link was even more interesting, although not interesting enough to do a post there. |
Re: Bottom Pair, Heads Up, Donking the Turn?
There's no reason to bet on the river. If villain has any pair at this point he's probably going to call or check/raise. If he has nothing then he will fold so betting gains nothing if you're the winner and you lose less by checking if you're already beat.

sorry misread. c/f river. If he calls you lose, same if he bets. turn is ok. |
Re: Bottom Pair, Heads Up, Donking the Turn?
Ok, so you tried to steal the blinds with 22 and got called. Now, the two most likely cards to pair someone up hit the flop and you get called. I think you just give up on the turn.
You didn't donk the turn. You bet. |

Uh, hmmmm, errrrr.
You understood that overcards were bound to flop right? NH sir! |
Re: Bottom Pair, Heads Up, Donking the Turn?
Grunch:
The steal attempt preflop is good. I'd fire one again on this flop representing the A or K but without a read that villain folds regularly to turn c-bets i'm done firing on the turn. Villain has something he likes and is ahead of you most likely. Check it down. |
