$50NL - nut flush draw + gutshot, deep stacked

Villain is a 17/12 so he seems solid. How should I play my NFD here?

On flop: I hate those mini-reraises, they could mean I'm against a monster or they could mean nothin, but because we were both really deep I decided to just call.

Turn: Bad card for me, could be drawing dead against FH so I wanted to see a cheap river & showdown, which didn't work out...

Should I play my monster draw more aggressive here?

If he seems solid there's a great chance he takes you for overcards and this is a good flop for him to try you out. I reraise him again and calls an all in. Easy turn fold here.

BTW: Thinking of cheap showdowns in a raised pot on flop vs a solid player is meh

its tough because you guys are so deep.

as played i would fold the turn like you did. Nothing wrong with the line you took really.

I play these draws very aggro and maybe it would be a mistake here but i would RR his flop to 32 and call a push. but unless the villian is very aggro expect to be behind here.

Yeah I would fold on the turn as well...

I doubt if the heart comes he will pay you off cause you're OOP...

Normally I play these hands very aggressive too, but with almost 180 BB I slowd down a bit..

This is not a "monster" draw. How many outs do you really think you have against someone wanting to play a big pot with you?

fold pre-flop from UTG.

Ok monster draw is excessive, it's a combodraw though

I'm a little favorite against TT-KK, little behind against 88-99 or made straight and way behind against a set (at most 2:1 on flop). I don't think he would play JJ-KK this way, neither a set on flop (considering his pot raise on turn). So it could be a straight or 88-TT, which range makes me a 43% dog.

Curious, how do most of us play this hand preflop?

I do as Hanibbal.

A call behind your raise from this player is most likely a low-mid pocket pair or high cards looking to hit a set. it could also easily be overcards like 88 which take away some of your outs. I think he's probably got a set or a med pocket pair. The bet on the flop however looks a bit odd for this player with any decent hand due to the flush draw. I think your fold equity is just about 0 given the flop so this is probably not a good place to play for stacks. anyone have Poker stove for this range?

*edited to remove always plays a set like this due to flop raise size and board.
