$25 Stars (Turbo) First hand decision

Hi,

I've been reading the site for a long while but hardly ever post (New Year resoltuion is to post more!).

I'd really appreciate people's thoughts on the hand below. It was the opening hand of a $25+2 turbo SNG on Stars a few days ago.

I've been having trouble extracting value/avoiding trouble in the opening couple of levels of this type of SNG. Overall I've been running well recently but this is the type of situation where I definitely have a leak.

My concern on the hand was that his flat calling pre-flop, flop and turn, made me feel he was on a medium or small pair and may well have hit a set. Obviously though I have no reads whatsoever at this point. What's your play on the river? Do the bet values seem reasonable?

On the flop I bet a little more to the size of the pot. Pot turn, then push river.

I think flop is fine, but else I agree.

If he has a set, you are supposed to stack off. Most of the time the range of Villain is: <!"§$(%§!"§§$
= any crap, any random pair, any gutter they chase.

Ok, and against reasonable villains: They could have a queen, maybe a FD. If you have an overpair you should try to get it all in as soon as possible. People call you with all kind of crap.

he is showing extreme weakness and likely just has a pair, if he doesnt push the turn when even more draws come on the board then he clearly doesnt have 2 pair or a set. River is harmless, bet hard and you will gather chips, very unlikely he has you here and you need to build your stack.
